The opening and closing members are arranged to be fixed to one side surface of the twin-tub washing machine and so movable between the inlets provided for the wash tub and the inlets for the spin tub, and thus the separation of the opening and closing members from the body may be prevented, and the need for separate spaces to retain the opening and closing members may be eliminated. Disclosed herein is a twin-tub washing machine having an improved inlet opening and closing structure. The twin-tub washing machine includes a body, a top cover covering the top of the body, a spin tub including a spin basket, a first inlet and a second inlet, and the opening and closing members. It is arranged so as to open and close the first inlet and to move glidingly between the first and second inlets. The opening and closing parts are so arranged that they are fixed to one side surface of the two-tub washing machine and so that they can move between the entrance provided for the washing tub and the inlet for the spin tub, and so that the separation of the opening and closing parts from the body may be prevented and the need for separate spaces to retain the opening and closing parts may be eliminated.
