Abstract

DC60, a process for forming aggregate granules, involves encapsulating or microcapsulating a liquid active ingredient. This is more suitable for fragrances. The process consists of the following steps: a) Granulation and/or powdering of the laundry product component, consisting of selected detergent particles from surfactants, fabric softeners, and/or builder detergents; b) Preparation of a slurry containing water, an alternative soluble substance, and the encapsulated liquid active ingredient; c) Spraying the slurry prepared in step b) onto the product component. Laundry processing in step a) involves using a high-rate spray to create droplets larger than 70 microns, resulting in aggregate granules of beneficial substances encapsulated in a liquid and anchored to the detergent particles. Alternatively, detergent components in particle form, including aggregate granules, can be obtained through various processes and incorporated into the laundry process. Processes for creating aggregate granules involve encapsulation in capsules or microcapsules of the beneficial liquid substance; for fragrances, the process consists of the following steps: a) Granulating and/or powdering the detergent component, consisting of selected detergent particles from surfactants, fabric softeners, and/or builder detergents; b) Preparation (slurry) consists of water, an alternative soluble substance, and liquid active ingredient encapsulated in capsules. c) Spraying: The slurry prepared in step b) is sprayed onto the laundry product component in step a) using a high-rate spraying to create droplets larger than 70 microns. These droplets then form aggregate granules of the liquid active ingredient anchored to the detergent particles. Furthermore, the detergent product component, including these aggregate granules, can be obtained by processing and applying the product component during the washing process.

Claims (10)

----April 21, 2020---- 1. Process for forming aggregate granules containing active liquids encapsulated in capsules, more suitable for fragrances. The assembly process involves the following steps: a) Preparation of powdered laundry components and/or granules containing selected detergent particles from surfactants, fabric softeners, and/or detergent builders; b) Preparation of a slurry consisting of water, an alternative soluble substance, and encapsulation of the active liquid; c) Spraying the slurry prepared in step b) onto the laundry product components in step a) using a high spraying rate to create droplets larger than 70 microns. This results in aggregate granules containing the active ingredients. 1. The liquid formulation encapsulated in the patent is anchored to the detergent particles. 2. The process under claim 1, in which the liquid beneficial substance is fragrance and aggregate granules in step c) contains encapsulated fragrance, microcapsules, or microcapsules at a level greater than 1 percent by weight, preferably greater than 3 percent, and preferably from 10 percent to 60 percent by weight of the granules. 3. The process under claim 1 or claim 2, in which the slurry formed in step b) also contains coloring dyes or pigments. 4. The process under either claim, in which step c) is sprayed in a low or medium shear mixer with a Froude number (Fr) less than 1 and an Fr to powder ratio less than 0.01 per kilogram. 5. The components of the laundry detergent product are particulate matter. Including aggregate granules encapsulated in liquid beneficial substance anchored to detergent particles, obtainable by any of the processes described in Reputations 1 through 4, and in such a characteristic, the percentage of beneficial substance is associated with a sieve fraction of 1000 to 1400 (formula) m, and more than 10 percent of the total beneficial substance is associated with a sieve fraction of 0 to 1400 (formula) m. 6. The component of the laundry detergent product according to Reputation 5, in this case, the beneficial substance is fragrance. 7. The component of the detergent product according to Reputation 5 or Reputation 6 contains zeolite builder. 8. The resulting aggregate granules, with the encapsulated liquid active ingredient anchored to the detergent particles, are then formed. 2. The process according to claim 1, where the useful substance is a liquid, namely fragrance, and aggregated granules, in step c) consists of fragrance encapsulated in capsules, microcapsules, or microcapsules at a level greater than 1 percent by weight, preferably greater than 3 percent, and preferably from 10 percent to 60 percent by weight of the granules. 3. The process under claim 1 or claim 2, in which the slurry occurs in step b), also includes coloring dyes or pigments. 4. Any of the processes under claim c) in which the spraying step occurs in a low or medium shear mixer with a Froude number (Fr) less than 1 and a ratio of Fr to powder amount less than 0.01 per kilogram. 5. The components of laundry detergent products are particulate, including aggregate granules encapsulated in a liquid useful substance anchored to the detergent particles, obtainable by any of the processes described in Reputations 1 through 4, and in such characteristics, the percentage of useful substance associated with a sieve fraction of 1000 to 1400 (formula) m is greater than 10 percent of the total useful substance associated with a sieve fraction of 0 to 1400 (formula) m. 6. The components of the laundry detergent product, as per claim 5, herein, the beneficial substance is fragrance. 7. The detergent product components under claim 5 or claim 6 include a zeolite builder. 8. The components of the detergent product, as per claim 6 or claim 7, where more than 50 percent of the fragrance is encapsulated, are contained in aggregate granules, and are not sieved. 500 (formulation) m 9. The use of the detergent product components according to claim 6 in the washing process at a concentration of 1 to 10 g/l of the washing solution is more suitable than 6 to 8 g/l. 10. The use under claim 9 in encapsulated fragrances, consisting of aggregate granules, has a maximum disintegration rate in laundry solution of 20 percent by weight based on the total fragrance content of the encapsulated fragrances.
