Disclosed are mixtures of improved Pranlucast solid dispersions and a method for producing the same, more particularly, the invention provides a Pranlucast solid dispersion produced by a hot melt process using a mixture comprising Pranlucast and at least one water-soluble polymer selected from the group consisting of polyvinylpyrrolidone vinyl acetate copolymer, polyvinylpyrrolidone and polyvinyl alcohol, have significantly improved dissolution rates and bioavailability compared to those prepared by conventional spray drying, thus achieving the same pharmaceutical effect with a lower drug dose.
