DC60 (05/04/55) This jewelry box consists of a main body, two side panels, a back section, and a front section. The top and length of the two side panels have grooves, while the back section is raised to form a ridge. A locking shoulder is located in the center of the outer part of the front section. The top of the main body is covered by a lid. The lid, comprising the two side panels, back, and front sections, has latches in the center inside of the two side panels that slide into the grooves on the sides of the main body, allowing the lid to open and close. The length of the back of the lid is recessed to match the spacing of the back ridge of the main body. A locking ridge is located in the center bottom edge of the front section of the lid, securing it to the locking shoulder of the main body. The top and length of both sides of the box have grooves, while the back section is raised to form a ridge. A locking shoulder is located in the middle of the outer section of the front. The top of the box body is covered with a lid. The lid has side, back, and front sections. In the middle of the inner sections of the two side lids are latches that slide into the grooves on the sides of the box body, allowing the lid to open and close. The length of the back section of the lid is recessed to match the spacing for fitting onto the back ridge of the box body. A locking ridge is located in the middle of the bottom edge of the front section of the lid for securing it to the locking mechanism of the box body.

1. The jewelry box consists of a box body (1) made of plastic or metal, molded into an open-ended rectangular shape, with a top section of two sides (2), a back section (3), and a front section (4). The box lid (7) is fitted over the box body (1), which is made of plastic or metal, molded into an open-ended rectangular shape with a bottom size that matches the size of the box body (1) so that it fits properly. The box lid (7) has two sides (8), a back section (9), and a front section (10). It has a distinctive feature: along the top of the two sides (2) of the box body (1) there is a side groove (5), and along the length of the back section (3) of the box body (1) it is raised to form a back edge (14). In the middle of the outer part of the front section (4) there is a locking shoulder (6), and in the middle of the inner part of the two sides (8) of the box lid (7) there is a latching pin. (11) which is inserted into the side groove (5) of the box body (1), where the latch (11) of the box cover (7) will slide along the side groove (5) of the box body (1) so that the box cover (7) can be opened and closed. Along the length of the back section (9) of the box cover (7) is made into a recess (12) to be sized to fit over the back edge (14) of the box body (1), and at the middle of the bottom edge of the front section (10) of the box cover (7) is a locking ridge (13) for locking onto the locking shoulder (6) of the box body (1). 2. The jewelry box, according to claim 1, which, when the latch (11) of the box lid (7) is moved to the front end of the side groove (5) of the box body (1), causes the front part (10) of the box lid (7) to act as one leg of the jewelry box, and in this position the rear part (3) of the box body (1) will act as the other leg of the jewelry box.
