The ink cartridge, as described in claim 5 or 6, wherein the guide (14) is comprised of fibers arranged parallel to each other outward from the inside of the chamber. 8. The ink cartridge assembly, comprising the ink cartridge, as described in Any one of the claims 1 to 7, wherein it further comprises a cover portion (17) detachably mounted to the ink cartridge (1) such that it covers the ink nozzle (12) and is positioned against a sealing surface (10). 9. The ink cartridge assembly as described in claim 8, wherein the cover portion (17) is of a flexible material and is mounted to the ink cartridge (1) by means of a push-button mechanism 1 0. The ink cartridge assembly as described in claim 9, wherein the cover portion (17) has the form of a holder comprising a cover (18) covering the ink nozzle (12), and two retaining wings (19a,b) extending parallel and positioned against opposite sides of the housing (2) of the ink cartridge (1). 1 1.
