Abstract

Wind direction indicator is a device that relies on the principle of rotation of the shaft that receives the decoration. It relies on the ball bearings inside the shaft that receives the shaft, using the smoothness of the ball bearings. The decoration can rotate when the wind blows against the decoration, causing a rotational force around the shaft due to the force of the wind. The smoothness of the ball bearings will help the decoration rotate around itself. There will be a shaft indicating the direction north-south, which will indicate which direction each direction is facing.

1. Wind direction indicator set consisting of ornament (5) and rotating shaft which has the unique feature of being able to rotate and move, namely the rotating shaft which has a rotating shaft to receive ornament (4) which is the central shaft of ornament (5). The shaft receiving ornament (4) is smaller than the shaft receiving cylinder (2). At the shaft receiving cylinder (2) there are ball bearings at both the head and the end of the cylinder. These ball bearings help to force the shaft receiving ornament (4) to stick to the shaft receiving cylinder (2) and to be able to rotate as well. In addition, the ornament (5) must be designed so that the back (tail) of the ornament (5) has a larger area than the head (front) of the ornament (5) so that when wind forces act on the chicken, it will rotate by rotating the head (front) of the ornament (5) towards the direction of the wind. 2. A wind direction apparatus assembly according to claim 1, wherein the pivoting portion comprises a mounting base (1) being a metal plate that secures the wind direction apparatus assembly to the roof structure. The mounting base is welded to a support cylinder (2) on top of the mounting base for inserting the support cylinder.
