1. กรอบป้ายทะเบียนรถยนต์ ประกอบด้วย กรอบป้ายทะเบียนแผ่นหน้า(3)ซึ่งมีลักษณะ เป็นสี่เหลี่ยมผืนผ้า ทำหน้าที่เป็นฝาด้านหน้าของกรอบป้ายทะเบียน มีเขี้ยวล็อคยึดติดกับกรอบ ป้ายทะเบียน แผ่นหลัง(2) ซึ่งมีลักษณะเป็นแผ่นสี่เหลี่ยมผืนผ้า โดยมีลักษณะพิเศษคือ กรอบป้ายทะเบียนแผ่นหลัง(2) ให้มีแท่นยึดแผ่นประกับ(4) ซึ่งผลิตจากโลหะแผ่นบาง ขึ้นรูปด้วยแม่พิมพ์มี ลักษณะสี่เหลี่ยมปลายด้านหนึ่งโค้งเป็นรูปตัวยู(U)เพื่อเกี่ยวกับขอบป้าย ทะเบียนรถยนต์ และปลายอีกด้านหนึ่งมีรูเจาะเพื่อให้สกรูยึดเข้ากับแผ่นหลัง(2) เพื่อล็อคป้าย ทะเบียนรถยนต์ติดแน่นกับกรอบป้ายทะเบียนแผ่นหลัง(2)
