Fabrics made from these copolyester composites possess superior absorbency, dyeability, and lightweight properties compared to fabrics made from ordinary polyethylene terephthalate when similarly manufactured. Therefore, the various composites, fibers, yarns, and fabrics of polyethylene glycol-modified copolyesters were revealed. The method for copolymerizing polyethylene glycol and branched-chain additives into polyethylene terephthalate was disclosed to obtain a polyethylene glycol-modified polyester composite that can be spun into single fibers. Fabrics made from these copolyester composites possess superior absorbency, dyeability, and lightweight properties compared to fabrics made from ordinary polyethylene terephthalate when similarly manufactured. It possesses absorbent properties, is dyeable, and is lightweight, surpassing the properties of fabrics formed from ordinary polyethylene terephthalate fibers when similar yarn or fabric processes are used. Therefore, the composition of the fibers, yarns, and fabrics of copolyester modified with polyethylene glycol is revealed.
