DC60 (30/09/42) This invention describes the use of biogenic estrogen sulfamate for oral and intermittent administration in hormone replacement therapy (HRT) with intermittent doses over periods of 2 to 40 days. It also addresses the supplemental administration of gestagen, which should be continued from an implantable or intrauterine device (IUD). The applicable biogenic estrogen sulfamate include estrone sulfamate, estradiol sulfamate, estriol sulfamate, or N-avyl sulfamate of estrone, estradiol, or estriol containing up to 7 carbon atoms in its acyl chain, or in combination with two or more of the aforementioned active compounds. Claims (7)

1. The use of biogenic estrogen sulfamate for oral and intermittent administration in hormone replacement therapy. 2. The use of biogenic estrogen sulfamate in the production of medications for oral and intermittent administration in hormone replacement therapy. 3. The use of biogenic estrogen sulfamate under claim 1 or 2, where biogenic estrogen sulfamate is estrone sulfamate, estradiol sulfamate, estriol sulfamate, or N-acyl sulfamate of estrone, estradiol, or estriol containing up to 7 carbon atoms in its acyl chain, or in combination with two or more of the aforementioned active compounds. 4. Execution under any one of the prior claims, with each size allocated at intervals of 2 to 40 days. 5. Application under any one of the preceding claims with the addition of at least one gestagen. 6. Use under claim 5 where the said gestagen is levonorgestrel, desogestrel, norethisdiarone, medroxyprogesterone acetate, megestrol, cyproterone acetate, clodamine acetate, deenogest, drospirenone, or a combination of two or more of the said active substances. 7. Use under claim 5 or 6, whereby gestagen is continuously administered from an implanted or intrauterine device (IUD) or from a combination of these administered forms.
