A sharpening device is located in the handle next to the opening and can be attached to the blade edge for sharpening while the blade is moving along the support. The sharpening device consists of a sharpening bit that attaches to the blade edge and is positioned at the front end of the blade when the support is in the resting position. A release mechanism is connected to the sharpening device to allow for the selection of the desired sharpening tool.
