Abstract

The retaining wall assembly according to this invention consists of square or rectangular wall sections (1)(1a)(1b)(2)(2a)(2b)(3)(3a) and (3b) which may be cast in concrete or reinforced concrete or as sheet metal or as a steel mesh; a reinforcing steel (4) which is a single main round metal bar and a counterweight (5) which is angle iron welded across at intervals at one end; the other end of the reinforcing steel (4) has a loop (6) which is a bent metal wire welded into a loop to be inserted between a pair of connectors (7), locked and fastened with a bolt (7a) to secure the wall sections (1)(1b)(2)(2a)(2b)(3)(3a) and (3b) to the reinforcing steel (4) and the compacted material (8) (see Figure 22) to stabilize the soil structure and the wall.

Claims

1. The retaining wall assembly consists of a wall (1) made of concrete or reinforced concrete, on the back of which more than one pair of connectors (7) are provided. The connectors (7) are curved in a U shape, with both ends bent perpendicular to the U-arms (U) and embedded in the wall (1). Reinforcing steel (4) is attached to the connectors (7), on which a grounding device (5) is provided. This device is an angle iron facing upwards and perpendicular to the reinforcing steel (4). The reinforcing steel (4) is arranged as a main circular metal wire, the number corresponding to the connectors (7), with one end curved into a loop (6) to connect to the connectors (7) using a bolt (7a) as a fastener. The grounding device (5) is attached to the reinforcing steel (4) by heat welding to secure the two pieces together.

2. The retaining wall assembly under claim 1, in which wall(1) is in the shape of a cross square or cross rectangle, is provided with flanges(9) extending symmetrically on both sides, and on flanges(9) are provided with guide grooves(10) of the shape of holes, which are inserted into dowels(11) for assembling wall(1) together.

3. The retaining wall assembly according to claim No. 1, in which the bolt (7a) is L-shaped for locking the loop (6) at the end of the reinforcing steel (4) to the connector (7).
