1. The fluorescent lamp driver circuit consists of an autotransformer, choke, a starter unit with an electronic ballast, and a circuit or device to stop the electronic ballast. The autotransformer is connected in parallel with the power supply to divide the voltage for the choke, which then passes to the circuit with the device to stop the electronic ballast. From there, the voltage passes to the fluorescent lamp, and this voltage is equal to the sum of the voltages across the choke and the fluorescent lamp. 2. Fluorescent lamp driver circuit according to claim 1. For varying lighting effects, autotransformers and choke transformers will have tabs for connecting to a switch to select the appropriate brightness as needed.
