A forced circuit-to-circuit control system consisting of switching components connects the reactor and the AC power supply by short-circuiting and adjusting the power control mode for selecting either a short-circuit mode where the power factor of the power supply or the DC voltage is controlled, or a non-short-circuit mode which provides short-circuit protection.
