Triazole sulfonamide, as per the formula (chemical formula), and its salts, where Ra is hydrogen and Rb is the R3CONHCR2=CR1 group, or Ra and Rb together form the formula -C(R3)=N-C(R2)=C(R1)- or -C(=Y)-N(R6)-C(R2)=(R1)-, where R1, R2, and R3 may be the same or different, each representing hydrogen, hydroxyl, mercapto, halocyanon, amino, alkylamino, dialkylamino, or alkyl, aryl, arylkyl, alkoxy, or alkylthio, which may be substituted or unsubstituted; Y is oxygen or sulfur; and R6 is hydrogen, alkyl or aryl, which may be substituted or unsubstituted; or R1 and R2 together represent... -CH=CH-CH=CH- or =(CH2)n, where n is 3, 4, or 5. R4 refers to a substituted phenyl, or a substituted or unsubstituted aralkyl or heteroaryl group, and R5 is a substituted or unsubstituted hydrogen, acyl, carboxy, alkoxycarbonyl, alkylsulfonyl, or alkyl, alkenyl, alkynyl, aryl, or aralkyl group, or a group with the formula (chemical formula) when Ra and Rb are as described above.

Triazole sulfonamides as in any one of the claims 1-6 where Ra and Rb together form a chain of the formula -C(R3)=N-C(R2)=C(R1)-, R1, R2 and R3 are all hydrogen, methyl, ethyl, phenyl, trifluoromethyl, or chlorohydroxy group; R4 is a phenyl group substituted by one or more halogen atoms, alkyl alkoxy or alkyl thiohydroxy groups with 1-4 carbon atoms, trifluoromethyl groups, alkoxycarbonyl groups with 2-5 carbon atoms, or nitro groups; and R5 is hydrogen.
