Claims

1. A disposable absorbent material is a long, slender absorbent with a top and bottom section. The top section is covered with a permeable membrane. The absorbent has a pair of thin, concave sections near the edges, positioned parallel to each other in the longitudinal direction. These sections are oriented along imaginary lines that extend to the midline, dividing the absorbent into two equal parts, and are in contact with the groin area to absorb bodily waste. A specific characteristic is that the absorbent is composed of fibers; the fiber density in the thin sections is equal to or lower than the fiber density in other areas.

2. The items under claim 1, whereby the said area is continuously situated along the said imaginary line.

3. The items under claim 1, whereby certain areas are spaced at intervals along the said imaginary line.

4. The item under claim 1, whereby the liquid absorbent contains a high-absorption polymer, and this high-absorption polymer is distributed only near the centerline, not near the imaginary line.
