Abstract

DC60 (13/07/43) Disposable absorbent products, such as training pants incorporating sensitive paintings that change color during use and can provide interactive training aids. The sensitive paintings, in particular, may consist of a moisture-sensitive color-changing mixture that disappears from view or blend with the background painting during use. Specifically, the sensitive paintings consist of at least two mixtures with different post-activated colors. Disposable absorbent products, such as training pants incorporating sensitive paintings that change color during use and can provide interactive training aids. The sensitive paintings, in particular, may consist of a moisture-sensitive color-changing mixture that disappears from view or blend with the background painting during use. Specifically, the sensitive paintings consist of at least two mixtures with different post-activated colors.

Claims (26)

1. The absorbent product consists of: an outer cover with an inner surface, an opposite outer surface, and a first color; an absorbent assembly placed on the inner surface; and a sensitive painting placed on the outer cover containing a color-changing mixture. The sensitive painting has a pre-activated color different from the first color, and the post-activated color is essentially the same as the first color. 2. The absorbent product consists of: an outer cover with an inner surface, an opposite outer surface, and a first color; an absorbent assembly placed on the inner surface; a sensitive painting placed on the outer cover containing a color-changing mixture; and a background painting placed on the outer cover with a second color different from the first; where the sensitive painting has a pre-activated color different from the first and second colors, and the subsequent activated color is essentially the same as the second color. 3. The adsorbent product of claim 2, in which the sensitized painting contains at least two color-changing mixtures; the sensitized painting has a pre-activated color that is different from the first and second colors; at least one color-changing mixture has a true post-activated color that is the same as the first color; and at least one color-changing mixture has a true post-activated color that is the same as the second color. 4. The absorbable product of claim 2, in which the sensitizing painting consists of sensitizing paintings one and two placed on an outer cover plate and containing a color-changing mixture; sensitizing painting one has a pre-activated color different from colors one and two, and the actual post-activated color is the same as color two; sensitizing painting two has a pre-activated color that is the same as color one, and the actual post-activated color is the same as color two. 5. The absorbed product of claim 2, the background image of which consists of a permanent painting. 6. An absorbent product of claim 1, consisting of three or more sensitive drawings. 7. An absorbable product of claim 6, in which the sensitive drawing is at least approximately 1.5 x 1.5 cm and less than approximately 3 x 3 cm. 8. The absorbent product of claim 1, whose first color is white. 9. The absorbent product consists of: an outer cover with an inner surface, an opposite outer surface, and the first color; an absorbent assembly placed on the inner surface; and a sensitive painting placed on the outer cover containing a moisture-sensitive color-changing mixture. The sensitive painting, with a pre-activated color different from the first color and a post-activated color, is essentially the same color as the first color. 10. The absorbent product consists of: an outer cover with an inner surface, an opposite outer surface, and a first color; an absorbent assembly placed on the inner surface; a sensitive painting placed on the outer cover containing a moisture-sensitive color-changing mixture; and a background painting placed on the outer cover with a second color different from the first; where the sensitive painting has a pre-activated color different from the first and second colors, and the post-activated color is essentially the same as the second color. 11. The adsorbent product of claim 10 is one in which the sensitized painting contains at least two moisture-sensitive color-changing mixtures. The sensitized painting has a pre-activated color different from the first and second colors. At least one moisture-sensitive color-changing mixture has a true post-activated color the same as the first color, and at least one moisture-sensitive color-changing mixture has a true post-activated color the same as the second color. 12. The adsorbent product of claim 10, in which the sensitizing painting consists of sensitizing paintings one and two placed on an outer cover and contains a moisture-sensitive color-changing mixture. The sensitizing painting one has a pre-activated color different from colors one and two, and the post-activated color is essentially the same as color two. The sensitizing painting two has a pre-activated color that is essentially the same as color one, and the post-activated color is essentially the same as color two. 13. The absorbed product of claim 10, the background image of which consists of a permanent painting. 14. The absorbent product of claim 11, in which the sensitive painting is placed on the inner surface of the outer cover. 15. The absorbent product of claim 9, in which the sensitive drawing consists of several linear sections. 16. The adsorbent product of claim 15, which is fibrous, has a width of approximately 1 to approximately 2 millimeters. 17. Disposable absorbent products designated for the first and second lumbar regions and the interpupillary areas positioned between and connecting the lumbar regions shall consist of: an outer cover made of virtually impermeable liquid material with an inner surface contrasting with the outer surface and color number one; a lateral lining connected to the outer cover in a matching relationship; an absorbent assembly positioned between the outer cover and the lateral lining and positioned on the inner surface of the outer cover; a permanent background painting positioned on the outer cover with a second color different from color number one; and at least three sensitive paintings positioned on the outer cover and in liquid contact with the absorbent assembly. At least three sensitive paintings shall consist of a moisture-sensitive color-changing mixture. At least one sensitive painting shall have a pre-activated color different from color number one, and the second and subsequent activated colors shall be virtually the same as color number two. 18. Disposable absorbent products designated for the first and second lumbar regions and the interpupillary areas positioned between and connecting the lumbar regions shall consist of: an outer cover made of virtually impermeable liquid material with an inner surface contrasting with the outer surface and color one; a lateral lining connected to the outer cover in a matching relationship; an absorbent assembly positioned between the outer cover and the lateral lining and positioned on the inner surface of the outer cover; a permanent background painting placed on the outer cover and having a second color different from color one; and at least three sensitive paintings placed on the outer cover and having liquid contact with the absorbent assembly. At least three sensitive paintings shall consist of a moisture-sensitive color-changing mixture. At least one sensitive painting shall have a pre-activated color different from color one, and the second and post-activated colors shall be virtually the same as color one. 19. The disposable absorbent product consists of: an outer cover with an inner surface, an opposite outer surface, and the first color; an absorbent assembly placed on the inner surface; and a sensitive painting placed on the outer cover containing a color-changing mixture. The sensitive painting has a pre-activated color different from the first color, and the post-activated color is actually the same as the first color. 20. The disposable absorbent product consists of: an outer cover with an inner surface, an opposite outer surface, and a first color; an absorbent assembly placed on the inner surface; a sensitive painting placed on the outer cover containing a color-changing mixture; and a background painting placed on the outer cover with a second color different from the first; where the sensitive painting has a pre-activated color different from the first and second colors, and the post-activated color is essentially the same as the second color. 21. The adsorbed product of claim 20 is such that the sensitized painting contains at least two color-changing mixtures; the sensitized painting has a pre-activated color that is different from the first and second colors; at least one color-changing mixture has a post-activated color that is actually the same as the first color; and at least one color-changing mixture has a post-activated color that is actually the same as the second color. 22. The adsorbent product of claim 20, in which the sensitizing painting consists of sensitizing paintings one and two placed on an outer cover plate and containing a color-changing mixture; sensitizing painting one has a pre-activated color different from colors one and two, and the actual post-activated color is the same as color two; sensitizing painting two has a pre-activated color that is the same as color one, and the actual post-activated color is the same as color two. 23. The absorbed product of claim 20, the background image of which consists of a permanent painting. 24. An absorbent product of claim 19 consisting of three or more sensitive paintings. 25. An absorbent product of claim 24 in which the sensitive drawing is at least approximately 1.5 x 1.5 cm and less than approximately 3 x 3 cm. 26. The absorbent product of claim 19, the first of which is white.
