Abstract

Styling shampoo products containing from approximately 5% to approximately 50% by weight of surfactants selected from the group consisting of anionic surfactants, amphoteric surfactants, or sweeter-ionic surfactants, and their mixtures; from Approximately 0.1% to approximately 10% by weight of styling polymers; and from approximately 40% to approximately 94.9% by weight of water; where the Hair Feel Index (HFI) is at least approximately 0.65 and the Curl Validation Value (CRV) is at least approximately 70, such products provide improved styling and a better hair feel from the shampoo ingredients.

Claims

Styling shampoo mixtures containing: (a) from approximately 5% to approximately 50% by weight of cleansing surfactants selected from the group containing anionic surfactants, ionic surfactants or amphoteric surfactants, and mixtures thereof; (b) from approximately 0.1% to approximately 10% by weight of styling polymers; and (c) from approximately 40% to approximately 94.9% by weight of water; where this mixture is characterized by a Hair Feel Index (HFI) > 0.65 and Curl Hold Value (CRV) > 70 (Clause 28, Figure - Image).
