DC60 (27/01/43) Detergent Blend. The provided detergent bleaching compound contains a ligand specifically containing pentadentate nitrogen. This compound can activate hydrogen peroxide or peroxy acids and provides good stain removal properties, especially in the presence of iron, manganese, or copper ions. Additionally, it achieves improved stability in alkaline aqueous environments, particularly at concentrations of peroxy compounds commonly found in laundry detergents. Claims (20)

1. The detergent mixture contains a peroxy bleaching compound, a surface reactant, and a compound with the general formula (A): [{M'aL}bXc]2Yq (A), where M represents hydrogen or a metal of choice from Ti, V, Co, Zn, Mg, Ca, Sr, Ba, Na, K, and Li; X represents the type of coordination; a represents zero or an integer in the range from 0 to 5; b represents an integer in the range from 1 to 4; c represents zero or an integer in the range from 0 to 4; Z represents the charge of the compound and is an integer which can be positive, zero, or negative; Y represents the counterion. The charge-dependent type of the compound q = z/[charge Y]; L = represents the pentadent ligand with the general formula (B) R1R2N-W-NR1R2 (B), where each R1 is independently represented by -R3-V, where R3 represents an alkylene, alkyneline, oxyalkyline, aminoalkyline, or alkylene ether that may be chosen to be substituted, and V represents a heteroaryl group that may be chosen to be substituted from pyridinil, pyrazinil, pyrazolil, imidazoil, benzimidazoil, pyrimidinil, triazolil, and thiazoil; W represents the selective alkyl bridge group that may be substituted from -CH2CH2-, -CH2CH2CH2-, -CH2CH2CH2CH2-, and -CH2-C6H4-CH2-. R2 represents the selective alkyl and aryl groups that may be substituted from hydroxyl, alkoxy, carboxylate, carbosamide, carboxylic ester, sulfonate, amine, alkylamine, and N+(R4)3, with R4 selected from hydrogen, alkaniyl, alkenyl, aryl alkaniyl, aryl alkenyl, oxyalkanyl, oxyalkanyl, aminoalkanyl, aminoalkanyl, alkenyl ether, and alkenyl ether. 2. The mixture as per claim 1, where W replaces ethylene. 3. A mixture according to claim 1 or 2, where V represents an aryl substituent selected from pyridinyl, pyrazolyl, imidazoyl, benzimidazoyl, pyridinyl triazolyl, and thiazoyl. 4. A mixture pursuant to one of the preceding claims where V represents pyridin-2-il with a substituent group. 5. A mixture according to one of the preceding claims where R3 represents methylene and V represents pyridin-2-il with methyl or ethyl substituents. 6. A mixture pursuant to one of the preceding claims where V represents 3-methylpyridin-2-yl. 7. A mixture pursuant to one of the preceding claims where R2 represents a group selected from methyl ethyl benzyl 2-hydroxyethyl and 2-methoxyethyl. 8. A mixture pursuant to any of the preceding claims where the ligand L is N-methyl-N,N',N'-tris(3-methyl-pyridin-2-ylmethyl)ethylene-1,2-diamine or N-ethyl-N,N',N'-tris(3-methyl-pyridin-2-ylmethyl)ethylene-1,2-diamine. 9. A mixture according to one of the preceding claims where X represents a type of coordinate chosen from CH3CN, H2O, F-, CI-, Br-, OOH-, O22-, O-2, R5COO- and R5O' LMO and LMOO- where R5 represents hydrogen, or an alternative of phenyl, naphthyl, or C1-C4 alkyl with substituents. 10. A mixture under any of the preceding claims that selects a counterion Y from R6COO-, CIO4-, BF4-, PF6-, R6SO3-, R6SO4-, SO42-, NO3-, F-, CI-, Br-, or I- where R6 is hydrogen, or alternatively phenyl, naphthyl, or C1-C4 alkyl with substituents. 11. Mixtures under any one of the prior claims may include peroxy acid bleaching compounds derived from hydrogen peroxide, compounds that provide or generate hydrogen peroxide, peroxy acids and salts of acids and mixtures of these, or alternatives used in conjunction with peroxy acid bleaching precursors. 12. A mixture of any one of the preceding claims that includes a builder substance used in laundry. 13. The mixtures under claim 12 contain surfactants in amounts from 10 to 50% by weight and detergent builders in amounts from 5 to 80% by weight. 14. A mixture pursuant to one of the preceding claims, to be mixed with salts of selected metals from iron, manganese, and copper. 15. A mixture under claim 14 in which the metal is iron. 16. The mixtures under claim 14 or 15 in which the metal salts and compounds (A) are discontinuous solids. 17. The mixture as provided for in any of the preceding claims contains peroxy bleaching compounds in an amount from 2 to 35% by weight and compound (A) in an amount from 0.005 to 0.5% by weight. 18. A cleaning method for bleaching agents consisting of a mixture as shown in any one of the claims in claims 1 through 13 with an aqueous solution containing salts of selected metals from iron, manganese, and copper to form an activated detergent, and the application of the activated detergent to the cleaning substrate. 19. The method under claim 18, which is metallic and ferrous. 20. A cleaning method for the bleach that involves mixing, as shown in any one of the claims in claims 14 through 16, with water to form an activated detergent and applying the activated detergent to the cleaning substrate.
