1. This automated vehicle registration recognition system uses image processing to identify license plates. The vehicle has a camera (4) installed on the car barrier (3) to record images of the front of the car. The system, including images of license plates of vehicles parked in the designated area, is then processed. The image is created by finding the letters and numbers on the license plate and then comparing them to the original license plate. Vehicles are recorded in the vehicle registration database using a set of light sensors. Two sets of infrared (1,2) signals are sent to the control system (6) to perform the on/off control.
