The absorbent material is characterized by a translucent front structure located on the liquid-supporting side of the absorbent core. This front structure consists of multiple parallel, liquid-permeable front plates forming swollen sections; a hydrophilic layer located within these swollen sections, between the translucent front plates and the absorbent core; and a liquid-stopping layer positioned inside the swollen sections, oriented along the longitudinal direction of the swollen sections.

The absorbent material as specified in any one of the claims 1 through 8 shall consist of a central section located between the wearer's legs, an anterior section continuous with the aforementioned central section, and a posterior section continuous with the aforementioned central section, such that when the anterior-to-posterior direction is vertical, at least the anterior section shall have the aforementioned anterior structure arranged with the longitudinal direction of the aforementioned inflatable section oriented toward the aforementioned vertical direction.
