Claims

1. A fuel level gauge is a device used to visually indicate the amount of fuel in a fuel tank. This gauge consists of a cylindrical body with an elongated rectangular or elongated upper section containing a transparent window; an indicator supported on this body to allow it to rotate freely; a float that can buoy the fuel and is connected to the indicator; and a cover plate that can be attached to the fuel tank and encloses the gauge. This cover plate has a rectangular or elongated opening through which the indicator is visible. A protruding part of the gauge is positioned within this opening of the cover plate to prevent it from rotating relative to the tank.

2. A fuel level gauge for the fuel tank as per claim 1, whereby such cover plate is provided with a fuel level scale and such transparent window has level markings corresponding to such fuel level scale.

3. Fuel level gauge: This device visually indicates the amount of fuel in the fuel tank. The gauge consists of a protruding, elongated rectangular or elongated upper section with a transparent window. The lower section is a cylindrical guide that fits into a bore for mounting a compression ring. The gauge is supported by the top of the fuel tank by the wings of the compression ring and rotates within the ring's bore. A float, which is connected to the float and allows for free rotation, is attached to the float. A cover plate has a rectangular or elongated opening allowing visibility of the float. This opening intersects with the rectangular or elongated protrusion of the gauge to prevent rotation. The cover is fixed to the top of the fuel tank to secure the gauge.
