1.วิธีการทำให้บริเวณของผิวที่มีเม็ดสีมากจางสีลงโดยประกอบด้วยการทาผิวด้ายสารผสมในปริมาณที่ปลอดภัยและมีประสิทธิผล ซึ่งสารผสมประกอบด้วย(a)สารออกฤทธิ์ที่มีประสิทธิผลในการทำ ให้บริเวณของผิวที่มีเม็ดสีมากจางสีลงและ(b)แคริเออร์ สำหรับทาผิวสารออกฤทธิ์ดังกล่าวประกอบด้วยโทโคเฟอรอล ซอร์เบตเป็นสำคัญ
2.วิธีการตามข้อถือสิทธิ1โดยที่สารผสมประกอบด้วยโทโคเฟอรอล ซอร์เบตตั้งแต่หรือประมาณ0.01%ถึงหรือประมาณ10%
