Abstract

DC60 (28/10/40) Disposable cushion or pillow cover 1 is formed by an airtight and moisture-proof layer 2. Layer 2 encloses the cushion or pillow 3 and provides an impermeable surface on which the user can rest their head or other body parts. Layer 2 contains ventilation channels 11 to allow air to enter and exit from the cushion or pillow 3. Layer 2 also contains sealable openings 9 to allow for the insertion and removal of the cushion or pillow 3. An airtight front layer 4 extends along the surface and is interlocked with Layer 2 at spaced intervals to allow airflow and some relative movement between Front Layer 4 and Layer 2. Claims (12)

1. A disposable cushion or pillow cover consisting of an airtight outer layer to enclose the cushion or pillow, providing an impermeable surface on which the user can rest their head or other body parts; ventilation devices in the outer layer to allow air to enter and exit the cushion or pillow; access devices in the outer layer to allow for the insertion and removal of the cushion or pillow; and an airtight outer layer that extends significantly across the entire surface and is secured to the outer layer at spaced intervals to allow air to flow and some relative movement between the outer layer and the outer layer. 2. The enclosure as claimed in claim 1, whereby the access device is in the form of an overlapping cover plate of the enclosure layer that closes the opening on the side of the enclosure opposite the secondary surface. 3. The casing as entitled in claim clause 2, whereby the aforementioned cover plate contains fastening devices to secure the cover plate to the removable casing. 4. A casing as entitled under claim 2 or 3, whereby such casing contains, by choice, fastening devices to create an airtight and moisture-proof seal. 5. The casing as entitled under any one of the claims in Clauses 1 through 4, where the aforementioned ventilation device is in the form of a series of holes on the side of the casing opposite the secondary surface. 6. The casing as claimed in claim 5, where the aforementioned hole is located in the center of the side opposite the aforementioned surface. 7. The casing, as entitled under any of the claims in Clauses 1 through 6, whereby the aforementioned duty class shall be attached to the casing by being secured around its outer perimeter. 8. The sheath, as entitled under any of the claims in Clauses 1 through 6, shall be secured to the sheath with adhesive strips extending along at least two edges. 9. The casing, as entitled under any of the claims in Clauses 1 through 6, where such front layer is detachably attached to its casing by straps around the pillow. 10. The sheath, as entitled under any of the claims in Clauses 1 through 9, whereby the flexible layer is placed between the forelayer and the aforementioned sheath layer. 11. The sheath, as entitled under claim 10, whereby the elastic layer is attached to the surface of the aforementioned sheathing. 12. The casing, as entitled under claim 10, whereby the elastic layer is attached to the front layer.
