Claims

1. An automatic urine drainage device consisting of: - a top collection pad (2) that allows fluid to pass through, is made of a non-woven, air-permeable material and has a mesh layer on its surface which comes into contact with the wearer's skin; - a hydrophilic pad (3) that is placed below the top pad and is made of a non-woven fabric consisting of at least one part of a material chosen from polypropylene, polyethylene, rayon fibers and composite fibers which consist of two or more parts of polypropylene, polyethylene and rayon fibers; - an absorbent pad (4) that is placed below the hydrophilic pad (3) and is made of a polymer material; - an outer pad (5) that is constructed in conjunction with a thin pad made of one material that is impermeable to fluid, its outer surface of which is made of a thin sheet of non-woven fabric. The outer pad (5) is treated with a water-repellent surface on its inner surface, and the outer pad (5) has a urine absorbent pad (4) attached to it. A collection container (6) is placed on the outer pad (5) parallel to it along its circumference. A urine outlet tube (8) for guiding urine stored in the urine absorbent pad (4) to the urine collection container (15) through a through-hole (7). A urine sensor (9) for detecting the expulsion of urine into the top pad (2), and a vacuum pump (24) to reduce the pressure inside the urine collection container (15), where urine expelled by the wearer seeps through the hydrophilic pad (3) into the top pad (2), causing the hydrophilic pad (3) to become saturated with urine and become airtight. 4. An automatic urine discharge device pursuant to claim 2 or 3, whereby - a control panel (27) is placed in a housing (20) containing a control device that activates a motor (25) to drive a vacuum pump (24), - a pair of urine sensors (9) which are placed on the urine absorbent pad (4) of the urine collection pad (1), - the urine sensor (9) is connected through signal wires (31,32) to the control pad (27), and - the control panel (27) is adjusted until it activates the motor (25) of the vacuum pump (24) through the control device upon receiving a urine detection signal from the urine sensor (9).

5. An automatic urine drainage device in accordance with any of the claims 1 through 4, whereby the urine collection tank (15) has a fluid level sensor for detecting the fluid level of the urine collection tank (15), and a pathway for displaying the fluid level detected by the fluid level sensor provided.

6. An automatic urine discharge device according to any of the claims 1 through 5, where the vacuum pump (24) has a discharge velocity less than the vacuum pumping velocity which is 1.5 times the volume of one adult urine flow.

7. An automatic urine discharge device in accordance with any of the claims 2 through 6, whereby a battery (26) is provided which powers the motor (25) of the vacuum pump (24).

8. An automatic urine drainage device in accordance with any of the claims 1 through 7, whereby the vacuum pump (24) is of the rotating type, an adjustable vacuum pump with a maximum rotation speed of 5000 rpm and a vacuum speed of 40 ml/sec or less.

An automatic urine discharge device pursuant to any of the claims 1 through 8, where - the inner surface of the urine collection container (15) is water-draining; - the coupling (11) is provided to connect the urine collection container (15) to the urine discharge tube (8); and - the urine collection container (15) is made replaceable by not connecting to the coupling (11).

An automatic urine discharge device in accordance with any of the claims 1 through 9, whereby the urine collection container (15) consists of a curved projection (18) constructed on its outer circumference, and the enclosed lid (20) consists of a curved recessed groove (28) constructed at its base to flexibly connect to the curved projection (18) of the urine collection container (15).

An automatic urine discharge device purified according to one of the claims 1 through 10, whereby the urine absorbent pad (4) of the urine collection pad (1) is constructed as a series of overlapping layers (4a,4b,4c), and each layer (4a,4b,4c) has different water absorption properties until the water absorption property of the top layer (4a) is less than that of the middle layer (4b), and that of the middle layer (4b) is less than that of the bottom layer (4c).

12. An automatic urine drainage device according to one of the claims 1 through 11, whereby the hydrophilic pad (3) and the urine absorbent pads (4a,4b,4c) of the urine collection pad (1) are combined to form one unit.

13. An automatic urine drainage device in accordance with any of the claims 1 through 11, whereby the urine collection pad (1) has a cushioning material which is completely encased in a special water-absorbent resin, a sponge-like material, or a porous material.

An automatic urine collection device according to any of the claims 1 through 13, where - the urine collection pad (1) has a bottom pad made of a porous fibrous structure material, and - the porous fibrous structure material is not tubular, the foam material used for the structure, PE mesh, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, superabsorbent resin such as polyacrylic acid, or smooth wood pulp in which such material is dispersed in it.
