Abstract

1. The triangular blade for a lawn mower consists of: Blade (1), which is triangular in shape, has two cutting edges (3) on two equal sides, and one hole (2) to insert a bushing (4). The bushing (4) prevents the blade (1) from being fastened to other equipment. The blade (1) has the unique characteristic of being triangular in shape and can rotate freely around itself. While the lawn mower is running, the cutting edges (3) will tilt into the clumps of grass that need to be cut, creating a jerking cutting motion which is more efficient than the cutting motion of a conventional blade which cuts in a straight line. The bushing (4) is round and flat, with a diameter slightly less than the width of the hole (2) of the blade (1), and slightly thicker than the thickness of the blade (1). The bushing (4) prevents the blade (1) from being fastened to other equipment, allowing the blade (1) to rotate freely around itself.
