Abstract

It is designed to help insert a drainage tube from the brain ventricles into the abdomen. It is suitable for patients with hydrocephalus who require laparoscopic surgery to insert a drainage tube. The instrument consists of a section for inserting the drainage tube into the abdominal cavity and a guide section with a handle for guiding and holding the tube into the patient's abdomen.
