This outlet check valve mechanism is installed opposite to the safety valve assembly. It consists of a hollow housing with threaded outer surface for securing to the gas inlet and outlet, and a hollow valve body with an outer shoulder for a tight fit against the inside of the housing. The innermost end of the housing fits into a single-piece molded piston with one end being a hollow cylinder with numerous holes around its circumference for gas flow into and out of the valve. The other end has a larger circular plate with extended wings to support the spring.

Claims

1. The outlet check valve mechanism of the LPG valve consists of a housing (22) with a hollow body and an outer surface that is threaded for fastening to the channel (31). At the outermost end is a shoulder (34) that protrudes inward from that end to accommodate the gasket (25) installed inside the housing (22). At the outer end of the housing (22) there are several grooves (36) positioned opposite each other. A locking ring (26) is installed at the front end of the housing (22) and is fitted into the inner surface of the gas inlet/outlet channel (39) to hold the outlet check valve mechanism parts in place so they do not come loose from the gas inlet/outlet channel (39). The piston (20) is fitted into the innermost end of the housing (22) and is formed as a single piece with one end being a hollow cylinder (40) and has several holes (41) around the hollow cylinder (40) to allow gas to flow in and out of the LPG valve. At the other end (42) there is a larger circular disc than the hollow cylinder (40) which has several wings (43) protruding from the aforementioned end (42) of the piston (20) to support the spring (19). It has a distinctive feature: a gasket (25) with a hollow cylinder body. The inner end is designed to be a protruding part (35) around the body of the gasket (25) to fit into the front of the valve body (21) and the valve body (21) to fit into the housing (22). The valve body (21) has a hollow body with an outer end that is made into a shoulder (37) to fit into the inside of the housing (22), and at the very end of the front of the valve body (21) is a circular rim (38) to fit into the protruding part (35) of the gasket (25). At the other end of the valve body (21) is an O-ring (24) to fit around to prevent gas leakage between the inner surface of the gas inlet/outlet (39) and the valve body (21).

2. The outlet check valve mechanism of the LPG valve, as per claim 1, where at the junction between the hollow cylinder (40) and the end (42) there is a gasket (23) to prevent gas from leaking out between the valve body (21) and the piston (20).
