1. วิธีผลิตแอลกอฮอล์ที่เป็นวิธีผลิตแอลกอฮอล์โดยการเลี้ยงจุลินทรีย์ที่สามารถผลิตแอลกอฮอล์ ได้เป็นผลิตภัณฑ์จากวัตถุดิบที่มีน้ำตาลคาร์บอนห้าอะตอมผสมอยู่ ซึ่งมีลักษณะจำเพาะ คือ จุลินทรีย์ดังกล่าวเป็นจุลินทรีย์ที่วิถีเอ็นต์เนอร์-ดูโดรอฟฟ์ (ED) มีการเสริมให้มีความแรง และผลได้ของแอลกอฮอล์ต่อน้ำตาลที่ใช้จากไซโลสหรืออะราบิโนสดีขึ้นเมื่อเปรียบเทียบกับ ก่อนเสริมวิถี ED ให้มีความแรงแท็ก :
