The peptides of the present invention include both peptides including amino acid sequences derived from TOPK and modified forms thereof in which one, two or more amino acids are substituted, deleted, inserted and/or added, providing such modified form with the ability to induce CTLs, and providing a polynucleotide encoding any of the aforementioned peptides and a pharmaceutical composition including any of the aforementioned peptides or polynucleotides. The peptides, polynucleotides and pharmaceutical compositions of the present invention find utility in, and both the treatment and prevention of cancer and tumors.
