The two parts are assembled and secured with a female nut. The plate that attaches to the doorknob slot is made of stainless steel, formed by bending, cutting, rolling, and welding with a cutting and folding machine. The end has a screw to be inserted into the aluminum or stainless steel C-shape that presses against the door and frame, and is secured with a female nut to prevent movement or wobbling.
