1. เปปไทด์ที่เป็นสารก่อภูมิต้าน (antigenic peptide) หรือชิ้นส่วนทำหน้าที่ของ เปปไทด์นี้ ซึ่งเลียนแบบฟอสโฟ-เอพิโทปทางพยาธิวิทยาของโปรตีนเทา (protein tau) โดยที่ เปปไทด์ถูกดัดแปร (a) โดยผ่านการเชื่อมต่อกับส่วนที่ชอบไขมันหรือที่ไม่ชอบน้ำซึ่งช่วยให้ สามารถสอดแทรกเข้าในสองชั้นพิลิดของลิโพโซมได้ง่ายขึ้น และ (b) โดยการคืนสภาพ (reconstitution) ในลิโพโซมเพื่อให้เปปไทด์นี้ปรากฎขึ้นบนพื้นผิวของลิโพโซม
