Abstract

Tank A shall be constructed in the form of a top support container 1 and a bottom support container 2. Claims (6)

1. An oil tank consisting of an upper and lower support container, each incorporating a bottom wall, a side wall erected at a relatively right angle from the edge of the bottom wall, and wings extending relatively parallel to the bottom wall from the upper end of the side wall, with the upper end of such side wall open; the upper and lower support containers are articulated at both closed ends and connected at both wings to form a single, hermetically sealed oil tank, characterized by at least one layered section being constructed on the side walls of each upper and lower support container in such a way that a specific section of the side wall is bent into a layered shape to accommodate the open end of the outer side wall from the lower section of the side wall. 2. The oil tank under claim 1 where the transverse distance between the open end portion of the side wall and the bottom portion of the side wall, which shall be determined on the opposite side from the layer, shall be greater than or equal to the thickness of the container. 3. The oil tank under claim 1, where the stepped portion is tapered inward at a specific angle toward the lower wall of the receiving container. 4. The oil tank as per claim 1, where the boundary between the stepped section and the open end section of the side wall and the boundary between the stepped section and the bottom side section of the side wall shall have a curvature in cross-section. 5. The oil tank, as per claim 1, shall have both flanges of the container, supporting the top and bottom, joined together as a single, hermetically sealed unit by seam welding. 6. The oil tank as per claim 1, whereby the upper receptacle shall have the same structure as the lower receptacle.
