Abstract

Roofing materials come in flat, curved, or corrugated sheets. Their distinctive feature is the pattern of colored stripes applied to the surface of long sheets of roofing material. When these long striped sheets are installed on a roof structure, they create the appearance of multiple short sheets overlapping each other. This effectively reduces the weight of the roof structure, lowers structural costs, shortens installation time, and reduces labor costs compared to using short sheets of roofing material.

Claims (7)

1. Roofing material is available in flat, curved, or corrugated sheet form. Its distinctive feature is that the roofing material is made into a pattern of colored stripes on the surface of the material. The stripes consist of a first (11) and a second (12) stripe, where the first (11) and second (12) stripes are colored according to the Hunter L, a, b color system to give the appearance of short sheets of roofing material stacked on top of each other. 2. Roofing material, according to claim 1, where the first strip (11) and the second strip (12) are placed side-by-side and parallel to one side of the roofing material sheet. 3. Roofing materials under claim 1, where the first color band (11) has an LAB value in the range of (0-30, (-60)- 60, (-60) - 60) and the second color band (12) has an LAB value in the range of (31 - 100, (-60) -60, (-60)- 60). 4. Roofing material, in accordance with claims 1-3, where an additional color band, a third band (13), is placed between the first band (11) and the second band (12), in which the third band (13) is made to be colored according to the color system, with LAB values in the range (31 - 100, (-60) -60, (-60) - 60) to clearly distinguish between the first band (11) and the second band (12). 5. Roofing materials, according to claims 1-4, where an additional color band, a fourth band (14), is placed adjacent to the outer edge of the first band (11), in which the fourth band (14) is rendered unevenly colored or has a gradient of decreasing darkness with an LAB value in the range of (0 - 30, (-60) -60, (-60) - 60). 6. Roofing materials as per claims 1-5, which, when installed on a roof structure with a roof slope of 15-45 degrees. 7. Roofing materials, as per claim 6, which, when installed on a roof structure with a roof slope of 25 - 35 degrees.
