Abstract

The formula for a product to reduce acne scars contains neem extract, processed as follows: Dried neem leaf powder is extracted with 70% ethanol using the maceration method. The filtered solution is then concentrated using a rotary evaporator. This concentrated extract is then used to produce an acne scar reduction product in gel form. The ingredients include: neem extract, 2.5% Carbopol 934, de-ethanol, PEG-12 dimethicone, glycerine, paraben concentrate, triethanolamine, and de-ionized water. This substance has tyrosinase inhibitory activity and a pH of 6.0.

The formula for a product to reduce acne scars containing neem extract includes: neem extract, 2.5% Carbopol 934, de-ethanol, polyethylene glycol 12 dimethicone (PEG-12 Dimethicone), glycerine, paraben concentrate, triethanolamine, and distilled water. 2. A product formulation for reducing acne scars containing neem extract, as per claim 1, which contains the following components: Neem extract 0.45 - 0.55% by weight, 2.5% Carbopol 934 9.50 - 10.50% by weight, De-Ethanol 24.50 - 25.50% by weight, Polyethylene glycol 12 dimethicone (PEG-12 Dimethicone) 2.50 - 3.50% by weight, Glycerine 1.50 - 2.50% by weight, Paraben concentrate 0.15 - 0.25% by weight, Triethanolamine. (Triethanolamine) 0.40 - 0.50% by weight, Distilled water (Di Water) 57.5 - 59.50% by weight. 3. A product formulation for reducing acne scars containing neem extract as per patent 1 or 2, which has tyrosinase inhibitory activity.
