DC60 (30/09/52) การประดิษฐ์นี้เกี่ยวข้องกับ อนุพันธ์ของ [5]เฮลิซีน ซึ่งคือ สารประกอบ 3-เมทอกซี-5,6,9,10- เตตระไฮโดร-[i]ฟิวราน-1,3-ไดโอโน-[5]เฮลิซีน (3-Methoxy-5,6,9,10-tetrahydro-[i]furan-1,3-diono- [5]helicene, MTFH) ซึ่งมีสูตรโครงสร้างทางเคมี ดังนี้ (สูตรเคมี) สารประกอบตามการประดิษฐ์นี้ มีประสิทธิภาพในการเปลี่ยนพลังงานไฟฟ้าเป็นพลังงานแสง ได้ดี มีอุณหภูมิหลอมเหลว 236 องศาเซลเซียส และมีอุณหภูมิเปลี่ยนสถานะคล้ายแก้ว 94 องศา เซลเซียส สามารถนำไปใช้งานเป็นสารเปล่งแสงในไดโอดเปล่งแสงจากสารอินทรีย์ได้
