A long strip made of synthetic plastic material is provided with numerous stops for use with a pull-type fastener. Adjacent stops are connected at intervals, each with a pair of identical legs and a thinning section midway between them that acts as a hinge, allowing the legs to fold together transversely along the strip. Each stop has an indentation at opposite ends along the longitudinal center of the strip, aligning a pair of these indentations with each other across the connecting section.
