Description
(54) ABSORBENT OF UG. BILING GAS
используют дл получени ортокремневой кислоты в лабораторной практике, а также дл получени минерала китит искусственным путемГЗ Экспериментально установлено, что в статических услови х 1-кг Na4Si04 поглощает 58 л (111 г) двуокиси углерода .The invention relates to means for absorbing carbon dioxide in a confined space and can be used in life support systems and breathing apparatus, as well as for cleaning gases from CO2 in laboratory practice. An adsorbent for absorption of COj is known. of gases consisting of 80% MgO and 20% alkali metal hydroxide. C The disadvantages of this adsorbent when used in breathing apparatus are relatively low absorption and high heat of reaction. Also known is the lime absorber .HP-I (chemical calcareous absorber containing 96% calcium oxide hydrate (, lime) and 4% sodium hydroxide. The absorber has a high sorption capacity under dynamic conditions. The disadvantages of CP-I are: release, fluid and technological moisture when interacting with CO, as well as a high heat of reaction, which does not allow to create favorable conditions for breathing in protective breathing apparatus. The purpose of the invention is to find a sorbent that, with good sorption capacity, will provide and respiratory conditions, i.e., low moisture content / low temperature of inhaled air and low breathing resistance. The goal is achieved by using sodium orthosilicate as the carbon dioxide absorber. The resulting alloy is crushed to a fraction size of 2-4 mm. Gray or grayish white or sodium silicate, soluble in water, the decomposition temperature. used to obtain orthosilicic acid in laboratory practice, as well as to obtain the mineral by artificial means. Experimentally established that in static conditions 1 kg of Na4Si04 absorbs 58 liters (111 g) of carbon dioxide.
The results of the comparative tests of the proposed absorber and CP-I are shown in the Table.
