(54) ELECTROMAGNETIC FLOW METER WITH FREQUENCY
8.The invention relates to the field of measuring the flow and quantity of liquids by an electromagnetic method. According to the main author. St. No. 546781 is known an electromagnetic flow meter with a frequency output, comprising a sensor, a sensor signal amplifier, a main and additional comparison circuits, a triangular current generator, a control circuit and a coil of a magnetic field generator, the sensor being connected to the control circuit input via a sensor signal amplifier , the output of which is connected to a triangular current generator. The coil of the magnetic field generator is connected to the first output of the triangular current generator, to its second output is the input of an additional comparison circuit, the output connected to the input of control circuit C. The disadvantage of the flow meter is its limited capabilities, in particular, regarding the possibility of measuring mass flow , the amount of heat given off by the liquid coolant, and other parameters, depended multiplicatively on the flow rate. The purpose of the invention is to expand the functionality of the flow meter by measuring parameters multiplicatively dependent on volumetric flow rate. This goal is achieved by the fact that a multiplying device connected between a triangular-shaped current generator and a control circuit is additionally introduced into an electromagnetic flow meter with a frequency output, with the second input of the multiplying device connected to the additional flow meter bus. The drawing shows a flowchart of the flow meter. The flow meter consists of a sensor 1, to the electrodes of which a signal amplifier of sensor 2 is connected. To its output is connected a main comparison circuit 3, connected by its output to a control circuit 4 connected to the first input of the multiplying device 5, the second input of the latter is connected to the auxiliary input of the flow meter, and output - with the input of a triangular-shaped current generator 6, to the output of which a coil of a magnetic field driver 7 is connected. An additional switch is connected between the triangular current generator 6 and the input of the control circuit 4 a comparison circuit 8.
В момент равенства нулю тока возбуждени срабатывает дополнительна схема сравнени , вновь переключа схему управлени .The operation of the device is periodic. If the signal at the auxiliary input of the flow meter is Y, then in the measuring half-period, the output voltage of the comparison circuit is Uo, and the output of the multiplying device is the current at the output of the generator 6 flowing through the coil of the driver 7 and absolute magnitude is increasing. The induction of the magnetic field in the active zone of sensor 1 also grows linearly, the useful signal on its electrodes and the proportional voltage Vz at the output of amplifier 2. At the time the voltage Uz reaches the EQ value, the basic comparison circuit 3 operates, affecting the control circuit and translating the device into reverse half period. In this case, a negative voltage UQ appears at the output of the comparison circuit, and at the output of the multiplying device 5, y-Uo- Under its influence, the excitation current begins to decrease linearly in absolute value. At the moment the excitation current is equal to zero, an additional comparison circuit is triggered, again switching the control circuit.
Thus, in each half period, the voltage U2 at the output of amplifier 2 varies linearly from zero to E o and vice versa. The slope of the voltage change of the ultrasound is proportional to the flow rate V and the rate of change of the excitation current IQ: U2 KiVJo-t, where KI const. In turn, the rate of change of the excitation current is proportional to the signal at the output of the multiplying device o, where K2 is const. It follows that
Ua K.yVt, where Ko K, Cg-io,
Since the signal Jz for half the period t changes by the value EQ, then, substituting instead of U2 ЕО for the period, we get the expression

п.The functionality of the flow meter is significantly expanded. If the auxiliary signal of the const is fed to the auxiliary input of the flow meter, then the flow meter will operate in the mode of measuring the volume flow. If the signal at the auxiliary input of the flow meter is proportional to, for example, the density of the flowing fluid, then the output signal of the flow meter will be proportional to the mass flow rate, etc.
