The disadvantages of the known device are the insufficient accuracy of the registration of the finishing time of a large number of competitors and the complexity due to the use of a memory unit.

 The purpose of the invention is to eliminate the above disadvantage, increase the speed of the device and simplify it.

The device contains a pulse generator 1 connected to a pulse counter 2, the output of which is connected to the start board 3, the decoder 4, the decoders 5 according to the number of registration channels and the recording unit 6. It also contains the display element 7 and the display elements 8 by the number of registration channels. The control of the circuit is carried out from the control unit 9 and the judicial panel 10.

The device works as follows.

A command from the referee panel will receive a signal about the start of the competition at the control block 9, from which the pulse generator 1 is started, which allows to receive pulses of a constant frequency received at the input of the counter 2 pulses performed on integrated circuits. From it, the pulses characterizing the time intervals — hundredths, tenths of seconds, seconds, then minutes, etc., simultaneously enter the starting board 3, the decoder 4, and the decoder 5.

The decoder 4 provides information about the time since the start of the competition to the display element 7 and to the registration unit 6, which is triggered only at the moment of receiving the command from the control unit 9.

The decoders 5 are sequentially connected via an annular shift register and provide information about the time of the participant’s finish to the display elements 8.

With each re-traversal of the ring shift register, the previous information is reset, and instead of it, the display elements 8 are given a new one. If necessary, this information can be reset with the button. All elements of the device are made on integrated circuits.

The proposed device is characterized by sufficient simplicity and at the same time is highly accurate, which determines the economic effect of its implementation.
