A microwave balanced mixer is known, comprising quadrature hybrid devices whose inputs are the signal and the local oscillator inputs. The outputs of these quadrature hybrid. The devices are interconnected through the first and second quadrature hybrid mixers, each of which uses a pair of diodes connected in opposite directions. The outputs of the hybrid mixers are connected to the output terminal to obtain the output signal of the intermediate frequency. The design of the mixer is complex, and the parameters are highly dependent on the degree of identity of the diodes used in it. The closest technical solution to the proposed invention is a balanced mixer, which contains a hybrid connection, the inputs of which are Signal Inputs and a heterodyne ;. and the outputs are connected to the inputs of the first and second directional couplers, between the first output of the first directional coupler and the second output of the second directional coupler are connected in series with one polarity, the first and second diodes, between the second output of the first directional coupler and the first output of the second directional coupler, the third and i a fourth diode having the same polarity as the first and second diodes of inclusions 2. A disadvantage of the known mixer is dependent The nature of its parameters depends on the failure of the diodes, as well as the complexity of monitoring the performance of the mixer. The purpose of the invention is to reduce the influence of the spread of diode parameters on the electrical characteristics. The goal is achieved by the fact that in a microwave balanced mixer containing a hybrid connection, the inputs of which are the inputs of the signal and the local oscillator, and the outputs are connected to the inputs of the first and second directional couplers between the first output of the first directional coupler and the second output of the second directional coupler the conclusions of one polarity of the first and second diodes, between the second output of the first directional coupler and the first g output of the second directional response l are connected in series the third and fourth diodes having the same polarity of switching on with the first and second diodes, a capacitor is connected between the points of connection of the first diode with the second and third diodes with the fourth diode, and the connecting arms of the first and second directional couplers are connected to the corresponding inputs of the hybrid connection . In such a device, a parallel-parallel connection of diodes in direct current is replaced by a serial connection, while the free inputs of the first and second N. parallel couplers loaded with matched loads are used to close the common serial circuit, thus combining the load functions of the device by the microwave signal and the closure of the DC circuit. Due to this, the constant rectified bias current of the heterodyne I1 flows through the diodes, resulting in stabilization of the characteristics of the mixer with non-identical diodes and changing external conditions, significantly simplifies monitoring the operability of the mixer and reduces the heterodyne power required for normal operation of the mixer. The drawing shows a circuit diagram of a microwave balanced mixer. Microwave balanced mixer contains hybrid 1, the first directional coupler 2 with the first output 3 and the second output 4; the second directional coupler 5 with the first output 6 and the second code 7, the first diode 8, the second diode 9, the third diode 10, the fourth diode 11, capacitor 12, high-frequency chokes 13, sleeves 14, chokes 15, loss lines 16, path input intermediate frequency 17. The microwave balanced mixer works as follows. The inputs of hybrid 1 receive an input signal and a local oscillator signal. In this case, high-frequency chokes 13 create in the points of their connection infinitely large resistances and do not bypass the main paths. The inputs to hybrid 1 of the signal voltage and the local oscillator are passed through the first directional coupler 2 and the second directional coupler 5 and are about the same in amplitude between the first diode 8, the second diode 9, the third diode 10 and the fourth diode 11. In this case loops 14, having infinitely high resistances at the signal and local oscillator frequencies, do not shunt the main paths. The phases of the intermediate frequency voltage across all four diodes are the same. Therefore, with a sufficiently large capacity of the capacitor 12, they all in phase form at the outlet of the mixer, on. the input path of the intermediate frequency 17. The input contacts of the diodes 8-11 intermediate frequency shorted to ground with loops 14, which at an intermediate frequency have low resistance. The rectified currents of the diodes 8–11 flow through a common series circuit, and the input of the intermediate frequency path 17 is open at a constant current. The segments of the circuits between the throttles 15 and the loss lines of 16 are completely isolated from the absorption of the microwave signals. It is to these sections of the circuit that a constant bias is supplied or the control devices are turned on, the diodes 8-11 monitoring the direct current. When you apply a total constant positive bias, the parameters of the diodes 8-11 become less sensitive to changes in the local oscillator power over a wide range, thus One of the reasons for the strong influence of the non-identity of the diodes on the characteristics of the mixers disappears. When the external conditions change, the characteristics of the mixer are stabilized by a combination of all diodes in series with direct current, in which the same bias current and the apparent heterodyne current flow through all the diodes. Laboratory testing of this ultra-high-frequency balanced mixer in microstrip was shown. that when a common current is applied to all the diodes, a bias current of 10 µA is obtained to obtain conversion losses in the order of 7 dB c. The 1600–2800 MHz frequency range requires 7–8 times less local oscillator power than in the known device, and the loss factor practically does not change in a very wide range of power variation. To the microwave on the signal and local oscillator inputs is not more than 2.3 in the specified frequency range, the output of the signal input from the local oscillator input is more than 20 dB. Thus, the proposed mixer reduces the dependence of the parameters on the dispersion of the characteristics of the diodes and changes in the external conditions, as well as substantially simplifies the monitoring of performance. This allows (when used in devices to stabilize the receiver’s range and provide a more confident connection when exposed to external conditions, and also simplifies operational characteristics. Invention formula A microwave balanced mixer containing a hybrid connection 226 whose inputs are signal and heterodyne inputs , and the outputs are connected to the inputs of the first and second directional couplers, between the first output of the first directional coupler and the second output of the second voltage The first and second diodes are connected in series with the outputs of one polarity, and between the second output of the first directional coupler and the first output of the second directional coupler, the third and fourth diodes are connected in series, having the same polarity as the first and second diodes, because , in order to reduce the influence of the variation of the parameters of the diodes on the electrical characteristics, between the points of connection of the first diode with the second and third diode with the fourth a capacitor is turned on, and The connecting arms of the first and second directional couplers are connected to the respective inputs of the hybrid connection.
