Description

п.Methods are known for joining parts of a composite tool with relative centering over mating cylindrical surfaces using keys, wedges, tightening bolts, etc.

The disadvantage of such connections is the complication of tool manufacturing and the lack of sufficiently quick and convenient connection and separation of parts during operation.

This drawback is eliminated in the present invention by the fact that the transfer of torque between the connected parts of the tool is carried out by means of a cylindrical coil spring, tightly covering the adjacent coaxially external cylindrical surfaces of the connected parts, made equal in diameter. In this case, the direction of the turns of the spring is the opposite to the direction of the working rotation of the tool.

На чертеже изображен общий вид составного ступенчатого зенкера , отдельные части которого соединены посредством спиральной пружины .The drawing shows a general view of the composite stepped countersink, the separate parts of which are connected by means of a coil spring.

The work piece / countersink is centered on the cylindrical mandrel 2 of the mandrel. The coaxial cylindrical surfaces 3 and 4 of the countersink and mandrel are equal in diameter and are covered by a cylindrical spring 5, the direction of which turns back to the direction of the working rotation of the tool.

At the initial moment of operation of the tool, as a result of the relative angular displacement of the working part relative to the shank, due to the friction between the coils of the spring and the surfaces of both parts of the tool, there is an additional twisting of the spring, which, in turn, tightens the coils of the circumferential cylindrical surfaces tool.
