The invention relates to the technique of oceanographic research, in particular, to devices for sampling water in the subsurface and surface layers of water on the vessel's course, and can be used in hydrobiological, hydrochemical and hydrological studies in the seas and freshwater bodies of water. Similar devices are known for sampling water used in oceanography, which carry out sampling of WATER from a drifting vessel. Typically, these devices are cylindrical vessels, which are lowered with open lids with different ways of closing 1. The disadvantages of these devices include the unreliability of taking water samples, since the layers of water through which the open cylinder passes are interacting with the material cylinder, distort the sampled sample. In addition, these devices, as a rule, are arranged vertically, i.e. they allow sampling in a water layer of a slightly longer cylinder length, but do not provide for water sampling in the surface and subsurface layers, which are small compared to the cylinder length. These devices do not provide water sampling while the ship is in motion, which significantly increases the duration of research work. Known batometer, comprising a housing with a bottom and a valve located on the opposite side. In order to ensure the purity of the sample, the batometer is buoyant, the valve is horizontal: the axis of rotation is equipped with a lever, the end of which is pivotally attached to the cable, tensioned by means of a load, the vessel has a guide made to allow movement along the cable, and the valve is closed A stopQM is fixed, associated with a pressure sensor, made in the form of a cylindrical piece of porous G2C rubber. The well-known bathometer, although it provides for the purity of the water sample, but has a number of drawbacks, does not allow water sampling in the layer, which is less than the length of the bathometer, does not provide for sampling while the vessel is moving, as the drag of the water meter that occurs during towing turns the lever to the position corresponding to the closed valve. The purpose of the invention is to increase the credibility of the sample. The goal is achieved by the fact that the batometer, which includes a housing with a bottom and a valve located on the opposite side, is provided with a hydrodynamic brake, the housing is horizontal and equipped with pins and a cable, the valve is designed as a spring-loaded lid and can be moved along the pins it is connected to the body with a wire rope. The drawing shows a bathometer, a general view. The batometer contains a cylindrical body 1, during descent, closed by valve 2 using springs 3 attached to guide pins x t rigidly connected to housing 1. On housing 1, on the side opposite to valve 2, there is a hydrodynamic brake 3, for example, in the form of a plate with the concave side facing the valve 2, and a valve 6 for draining the sampled sample. A cable 7, on which the device is lowered overboard, is attached at one end to valve 2 and to another body 1, for example to crane 6. The device is sealed by means of a gasket 8, the device operates as follows. As the vessel moves, the device lowers from overboard to the cable 7 so that valve 2 is turned in the direction of movement of the vessel. In this case, the springs press the valve 2 to the housing 1 and ensure its tightness due to the gasket 8. After the device enters the water, the water resistance force on the hydrodynamic brake 5 overcomes the force of the springs 3, thus depressurizing the device and sampling the water. After the housing .1 is filled with water, the device rises onto the borsch at the end of the cable fixed to the housing 1, the device turns the hydrodynamic brake 5 forward, and the valve 2 slammed by the action of the springs 3. The device’s immersion depth the speed of the vessel. The force of the springs 3 providing the closing of the valve 2, and the dimensions of the hydrodynamic brake are selected by calculation. The force of pressing the springs 3 can be adjusted by screwing the pins k into the housing 1, and the various hydrodynamic opening force of the device can be provided by interchangeable hydrodynamic brakes 5 of various sizes and configurations. The housing 1 is made of an inactive metal, for example titanium. The technical and economic effect from the use of the device is that the time spent on exploring a certain water area is reduced, since sampling is carried out while the vessel is running, and saving approximately one expedition ship per year is 7,500 rubles. Claims of the invention: A batometer comprising a housing with a bottom and a valve located on the opposite side, distinguished by the fact that in order to increase the reliability of the sample, the batometer is equipped with a hydrodynamic brake, the housing is located horizontally and provided with pins and a cable, the valve is designed as a spring-loaded cover and is mounted for movement along the pin, and the cover is connected to the housing by a wire.
