Description
The invention relates to the construction, in particular, to engineering and geological surveys. The closest to the present invention is a method for investigating the strength properties of soils during shear, including placing the strains in the soil being studied, removing it from the soil, measuring the extraction force, shear surface area and determining the soil characteristics 1. . The purpose of the invention is to reduce the labor intensity and increase the accuracy of bulk soil research. This goal is achieved by the fact that in the method of investigating the strength properties of the soil during shear, including placing the punch in the soil under study, removing it from the soil, measuring the extraction force, area. Surface shear and characterization of the soil, when the stamp is placed in the soil, dumping of the soil is carried out with its subsequent compaction. The method is carried out as follows. A stamp with a vertical thrust, the length of which slightly exceeds the thickness of the soil layer to be filled, and the end of which is connected to the power device, is placed on the previously compacted soil layer. Then, the layer is dumped and compacted to a given density, which is determined, for example, by the method of cutting rings, after which a vertical force is applied to the die and the ground is ported. At the same time, the punch pull force is measured. This test is performed at various initial soil densities. According to the test results, a graph of the dependence of the ultimate shear resistance on different initial density of the bulk of the soil is plotted and its coefficient of internal friction and adhesion is determined by the graph-analytical method. The application of the invention will reduce the complexity and improve the accuracy of research.
