Поставленна цель достигаетс тем, что в потоке при фиксированном уровне воды одновременно измер ют глубину наполнени , площадь живого сечени ,The invention relates to hydraulics and engineering hydrology and can be used to determine slopes in the production of hydrometric work on open artificial and natural water courses. The closest technical solution to the proposed method is the determination of the slope of the free surface of watercourses, in which the base length is set depending on the required accuracy of the slope measurement. However, the method does not take into account the hydraulic conditions of the flow of the water mass. Restrictions on the length of the base in terms of accuracy characteristics are related to the method of measuring the water level adopted on the network of the Hydrometeorological Service of the USSR and are not fundamental, since, using more advanced technical means for measuring the level difference, the slope can be measured at almost zero base. the length of the hydraulic conditions are fundamental, associated with the hydraulic flow regime, and technically can not be reduced. The main purpose of measuring slope is to use it further to determine water flow. However, due to the inertia of the nature of the movement of the water flow, any local change in the slope may not characterize the flow rate passing through the gauge. Therefore, the question arises of determining the minimum allowable length of the base arising from the hydraulic flow regime and the morphometry of a section of the channel. Existing normative documents give the most general intuitive ukazani that changes in velocity on the site should be monotonous, living sections should either decrease or increase, etc., i.e. they are devoid of quantitative characteristics and are not related to a particular method, which entails the subjectiveness of the ism when choosing the length of the section, and as a result of this, reducing the representativeness of the measured slope of the free surface. The purpose of the invention is to improve the accuracy of determining the slope by choosing the optimal base length. The goal is achieved by the fact that in a stream with a fixed water level, the filling depth, the area of the living section,

The method is carried out in the following manner. In a natural flow, at a place where the hydraulic space is split, at a certain (fixed) water level in the channel, technical means of directional depth h (for example, an echo sounder), a living cross section F and an area gradient are measured simultaneously by means of simultaneous depth measurements in a hydrometric one. solution, as well as in 2 sections upstream and downstream (for example, using a hydrometer pole or basting). The values of the roughness coefficient n are determined (as is customary in the hydrometric practice). e) according to known tables, depending on the characteristics of the channel. The measured values are substituted into the above formula and the length of the base is determined from it.
