It is also known a device for fixing at the end of the head of the machine (tap) with the help of balls in contact with both the fixed part and the movable 1: 1 element in the form of a ring with an inner cone 12.

The disadvantages of this device are the inability of the part to be fixed on any place of the rod of considerable length and, moreover, holding the part when applying

loads along the shaft (rod) only in one direction.

It is also known a device comprising three balls and a gland element 3.

The disadvantage of this device is also the absence of the possibility of fixing the part on any place of the rod, which is possible only 10 kr at its end and only if in this place on the rod there is a collar and a tapered part that presses the balls to the inner cylindrical surface and fixes my part .

The purpose of the invention is to increase the convenience of operation by ensuring the sleeve is fixed on any place of the rod.

This goal is achieved by the fact that the device contains a stepped hollow sleeve with a shank, is mounted on it with a gland element in the form of a ring, a part of the inner surface of which is made conical, and balls installed in the shank cavities with the possibility of their contact with the rod and the conical surface of the gland The element, the outer surface of the sleeve shank and inside the 1N surface of the gland element are threaded.

The device for fixing the part on the rod contains balls 1 inserted into the holes 2 of the fixed part (coil) 3, which is concentrically mounted on the rod 4.

In addition, the device contains a gland element 5, made in the form of a ring, concentrically mounted on the fixed part 3 on the thread b and provided with an inner side with a tapered surface 7.

The gland element 5 has holes 8 and 9 for installing a tool (not shown) in them when screwing or unscrewing it. The tail part 10 of the fixed part 3 has a groove 11 for mounting a stop spring ring 12 therein and a thread 6.

The fixation device is mounted on the tail part 10 of the fixed part 3. For this, balls 1 are mounted in the hole 2, the gland element 5 is screwed onto the thread and the retaining spring 12 is installed into the groove 11.

The device works as follows.

At the moment of mounting the part 3 on the rod 4, the gland element S is not screwed up to the stop and the balls 1 allow

freely put part 3 on rod 4. When screwing in the gland element 5, its conical surface 7 presses the balls 1 to the rod 4 and thus fixes part 3 on the rod. The use of the invention increases the convenience of operation, ensures the fastening of the sleeve in any place.
