Description
The invention relates to the synthesis of sorbents and can be used in gas chromatography for the chromatographic analysis of complex organic substances. Solid porous bodies are known, which are used as sorbents in gas chromatography. However, the known sorbents are not sufficiently effective for separating complex mixtures of aggressive media in a wide temperature range. In order to expand the range of sorbents suitable for the chromatographic analysis of polar, nonpolar and corrosive agents in a wide range of temperatures, fluorine graphite is proposed as a sorbent for gas adsorption chromatography. Granular fluorinated graphite for filling the chromatograph column has the following physicochemical parameters: Specific surface, tf / T280 Mechanical strength kgf / cm 45 Particle size, mm 0.25-0.3 Thermal stability, C450 Previously, fluorinated () graphite was used as a solid lubricant and the active mass in the galvanic cell 2,. Fluorinated graphite is obtained by reacting fluorine gas with graphite. The proposed sorbent is suitable for analyzes of various classes of substances; low-boiling compounds (nitrogen dioxide, nitrous oxide, freons, etc.); in the analysis of bromine, chlorine, fluorine, halogen-containing acids, boron trifluoride, etc .; separation of polar compounds (water, alcohols, nitro compounds, etc.); for the rapid and accurate determination of water in any classes of compounds; for the separation of high-boiling compounds (organofluoric oxides, hydrazine derivatives, etc.). The sorbent has high effektivnost, heat resistance and chemical resistance. The table shows the properties of the sorbent, the relative magnitudes of the retained volumes of various compounds relative to ethane, typological chromatographic analysis of complex organic substances in a column 1 m long. As follows from the table, the proposed sorbent is non-synthetic and suitable for the separation of compounds with both specific and nonspecific forces of interaction with the surface, weakly absorbs polar substances, which leads to short retention times and symmetry of the peaks, chemical and thermally inert and suitable for separating ag-:-intensity and high-boiling substances of different classes.
Thus, the use of fluorinated graphite as a sorbent makes it possible to develop in each specific case computerized methods for analyzing complex mixtures containing low boiling, high boiling and aggressive substances in a single sample. This f allows to simplify the analysis, introduce automatic compression of the process and thereby increase labor productivity.
The first sorbent can also be used, for example, for one-step chromatographic analysis of mixtures of fluorine gas, hydrogen fluoride and organofluoric products obtained in the process
