Description
The invention relates to a medical technique, namely, ophthalmology, and can be used to restore vision after surgery to remove a clouded clasp (cataract). The artificial lens of the eye is known, which contains a lens and supporting elements in the form of legs, the ends of which are bent parallel to the back surface of the lens and made in the form of rectangular elbows l1. However, the attachment of such an artificial lens in the eye entails a change in the shape of the pupil, in addition, it is possible that the supporting legs can be displaced during light shocks, the operation is traumatic and complex. The purpose of the invention is to eliminate the shade of the lens and reduce trauma. eye tissue systems. The goal is achieved by the fact that the lens is provided with an additional supporting element made in the form of a metal spike and located between the legs on the periphery of the lens, while the latter are curved in such a way that they have vertical portions of the horizontal sections. The drawing shows an artificial lens of the eye in two projections. The artificial lens of the eye contains lens 1, supporting elements in the form of legs 2, the ends of which are bent parallel to the back surface of the lens and made in the form of rectangular knees, while the legs in the upper part have horizontal sections. On the periphery of the lens 1 between the legs 2 an additional supporting element in the form of a metal spike is placed. The design features of the support legs of the artificial eye crystal eliminate the horizontal displacement of the lens (right-left); if necessary, a suture can be made at the bend, fixing lens 1 to the iris. After inserting the lens into the eye, spike 3 is inserted into the tissue of the iris, thereby providing an additional point of support, which ensures that it does not move vertically (up and down). Sometimes it is advisable at the completion of the stage to bend the indicated spike 3 upwards and, thus, fix the lens 1 to the rainbow about $ 10 o'clock tightly (similar to how it is obtained when performing an iris seam).
The design of the artificial lens allows the implantation technique to be greatly simplified, while retaining all the fundamental advantages of extrapupillary fixation of the artificial lens of the eye to the iris.
