The connection point of the diodes 14, 15 between each other through a series-connected separating capacitor 16 and protective inductance 17 is connected to the anode group of the thyristor. The device works as follows. When the thyristors 4, 5 are turned on, the oscillating current generated by the charged capacitor 12 from that indicated in FIG. 1 is polarity flowing along the circuit: the inductance of droplets 13, the load 3, the diode 15, the capacitance 16 and the protective inductance 17. In this case the circuit of the oscillating current is closed. After the capacitor 12 is recharged to the opposite polarity, current flows in the opposite direction through diode 8, inductance 17, capacitance 16, diode 14, load 3, diode 10 and inductance of throttle 13. At the same time, the reverse oscillating current circuit also closes, and the current flows through the load again in the same direction. When thyristors 6, 7 work, the process proceeds similarly. As a result, a continuous sequence of unipolar pulses flows through the interelectrode gap. The width of a burst of pulses is controlled by the supply and removal of control pulses. At the same time, it is possible to obtain a burst of pulses of any duration and with any duty cycle. At high currents, when it becomes necessary to operate several inverter bridges on a common interelectrode gap, it is advisable to turn on thyristors in each pair of bridges in antiphase, that is, when the thyristors of the first bridge are working and at the same time the reverse diodes of the second bridge are flowing. In this case, all current pulses have the same amplitude. The novelty of the invention lies in the connection in parallel of the load of two series-connected diodes, the connection point of which is interconnected to the anode group of the inverter bridge thyristors through the series-connected capacitance and inductance. The device allows the reverse currents of the opposite diodes of the inverter bridge to pass through the interelectrode gap in the forward direction. As a result, with the same amount of power loss in the generator elements, the average current flowing through the interelectrode gap increases, and consequently, the power and efficiency of the generator increase, claims Invention Generator of packs of unipolar current pulses, performed in an anti-parallel bridge diodes containing a source of direct current and a load included in one of the bridge diagonals, the other of which is formed by a switching LC circuit, as well as a successive circuit A pi formed by a coupling capacitor and a protective inductance, characterized in that, in order to increase efficiency, it is equipped with two series-connected additional diodes connected in parallel with the load, and the junction point of these diodes is connected to the anode of the bridge thyristors through a separation capacitor and protective inductance.
