Description

54) SAMPLE FOR MATERIAL TESTS FOR IMPACT

Claims (2)

G 01 N 3/30, 1969. VISCOSITY of wall thickness and length of 0.33 ± 0.07 of the outer circumference of the pipe. The depth and length of the notch was chosen optimally, based on the condition of obtaining the most stable results for determining the destruction of the specimen. Inside the pipe 1, two plugs 3 and 4 are inserted along the sliding nozzle along the sliding nozzle. The inner ends 6 and side 3 and 4 are in contact on the semicircle area, and on the notch 2 side there are bevels 5 located symmetrically with the plane of contact. The bevel angle of the ends of the plugs 3 and 4 to the longitudinal axis is 40t 5 °. Bevels 5 are mated with the cylindrical part of the plugs 3 and the material hardness of the plugs 3 and 4 is 2.0t 0.8 times the hardness of the material of the pipe 1. The sample assembly is mounted on the tops of the taper head, so that the top of the cutting edge 2 and the contact ends of the plugs 6 were located in the plane of impact, and the bevels 5 of the plugs 3 and 4 were located symmetrically with respect to the plane of contact of the plugs, and after that they struck the specimen. During the tests, the sharp edges of the claws 5 and the cylindrical part of the plugs 3 and 4 scratched the inner surface of the pipe 1, which required additional energy. The coupling of the bevels 5 and the cylindrical part of the plugs 3 and 4 eliminates this phenomenon. In case of prolonged use of a single pair of plugs, repeated blows of the tandem knife may lead to their deformation. In order to avoid this laziness hardness, the material of the plugs should be no less than 1.2 times the hardness of the material of the pipe. The fabrication of plugs from a material whose hardness is greater than 2.6 times the hardness of the pipe material can lead to chipping and cracking near the boundaries of the transition from the plane of their mutual contact to the cylindrical part. Therefore, the hardness of the material of the plugs in relation to the hardness of the material of the pipe, it is advisable to choose in the range from 1.2 to 2.8, depending on the brand and properties of the test material and the material of the plugs. Claim 1. Sample for testing materials for toughness, made in the form of a pipe with a concentrator in the form of a V-notch, characterized in that, in order to improve the accuracy of measurement of the work of destruction, it is equipped with installed along the entire length of the pipe along a sliding fit two traffic jams, while the internal ends of the traffic jams contact in the area of the semicircle and on the notch side have bevels located symmetrically with the plane of contact. 2. Sample according to claim 1, distinguishing and and with. in that the bevel angle of the ends of the plugs to the longitudinal axis is 40 ± 5, and the bevels are coupled with the cylindrical surface. 3. Sample according to paragraphs. 1 and 2, in that the plugs are made of a material with a hardness of 2, O i is 0.8 times higher than the hardness of the pipe material.
