Description
руемую кислотность клеточного сока хвои, определ емую в зимнее врем года.the acidity of the needles cell sap, determined in the winter season.
The method is carried out as follows.
0,05 N NaOH.A sample of needles of 5-10 g is collected from the test tree, placed in a tube with a tight-fitting lid (soil cups can be used), kept in a thermostat at 80 ° C for 30 minutes. Using a press, squeeze 1 ml of juice, dilute with 20-25 ml of distilled water, and titrate with phenolphthalein with 0.05 N NaOH.
The second method of determination: a sample of needles weighing 500 mg is triturated with 25 ml of distilled water, kept for 30 minutes at 80 ° C, filtered and the filtrate is titrated with 0.05 N sodium hydroxide solution of phenolphthalein. The size of the trait is characterized by the number of ml of NaOH that is titrated.
Признак не подвержен метамерной изменчивости, обладает высокой наследуемостью .The determination of the trait is carried out in the winter season. The sign is known in the physiology and biochemistry of plants. In the warm season it has a high variability during the day, in the winter its values stabilize. The symptom is not subject to metameric variation, has high heritability.
The low value of titrated acidity indicates a high resistance of plants.
Example 1. Determination of the titrated acidity of the cell sap of pine needles of different geographical origin. We analyzed the needles of Scots pine of eight ecotypes. The results of the experiments are given in the table.
Dispersion data analysis showed

В таблице показана зимн повреждаемость различных экотипов сосны после засущливой осени (в процентах поврежденлых растений от общего их количества), характеризующа их относительную устойчивость .The table shows the winter damageability of various ecotypes of a pine after a suspicious autumn (in percentage of damaged plants of their total number), which characterizes their relative stability.
The calculated correlation coefficient between the titratable acidity and the damageability of 0.850 (reliable with a probability of 0.999) indicates a close relationship of symptoms.
The ecotypes of pine from the Amur Region and the Krasnodar Territory are most stable under these habitat conditions. The needles of these pines are characterized by low titratable acidity.
Example 2. Determination of the coefficient of heritability acidity needles.
The experience included 42 clones of mother trees and 42 families (offspring from free pollination from 20 to 26 trees in each family).
Studies have shown that the coefficient of heritability (Na) acidity of the needles, determined by the double coefficient
0,86.the correlation between clones of mother trees and their offspring from free pollination is equal to 0.86.
Example 3. Determination of the titrated acidity of the cell sap of spruce needles of various species. The experiment included three types of spruce. The following values of the trait were obtained: spruce spruce - 7.292 ±: 0.248; spruce ordinary - 4,712 ± 0,320; Siberian spruce (f. Siz) -3.660 ± 0.280; Siberian fir-tree - 3,408 + 0,104. In the same sequence, spruce trees are arranged to increase resistance. Spruce barbs are damaged every year, Siberian spruce is most resistant. If winter damage to pine trees is observed only after dry autumn and in dry habitat conditions (they are characterized by data in Table 1), then spruce trees are damaged in varying degrees and in wet habitat conditions, they cannot grow at all in dry ones. That is, in general, the stability of fir trees is lower than that of pines. They are also characterized by the increased acidity of the needles cell sap.
Thus, the acidity of the cell sap of the needles is a reliable sign for an early diagnosis of the resistance and prospects for the cultivation of pine and spruce.
The proposed method was tested on experimental geographical cultures of pine, planting spruce in the territory of the Barmashinsky experimental forestry of the Kokchetav region, as well as in the area of the joint clone plantation of KazNIILCHA.
The proposed method allows forest breeders, foresters and all specialists involved in the cultivation of forest plantations to assess the stability of pine and spruce trees, regardless of their age.
2-The sustainability assessment by the direct method requires a minimum of 10-15 years (with such a period, combinations of adverse climatic factors causing damage recur). The proposed method will reduce this time to 2-
3 years and increase the safety of crops M 40%, which will give an economic effect on 1 ha of crops created up to 15 rubles.
